Yes, thank you Jonathan Haidt for providing the evidence of what anyone with any sense already knew about the negative impact on students of cell phones in schools. My local high school, Lyons Township High School District 204, is finally taking the MINIMAL step of not allowing use during class. Should be more.

Providing free abortions at the DNC is a concerning display of disrespect towards human life and motherhood, as it overlooks the need to provide support and options for a pregnant woman. We expect no less from Planned Parenthood. It's just shameful how low Democrats have sunk.

When they go low, we go high. Planned Parenthood's providing free abortions and vasectomies at the DNC. Democrats for Life is countering with a diaper drive. I just donated and I hope you will, too.

I'm currently in Chicago Governor Gretchen Whitmer. I'm open to discussing how we can change the abortion litmus test and genuinely incorporate pro-life voices into the Party. Because at this moment, your words hold no weight.

No one learned anything from that CNN interview of Harris and Walz. I’ll talk more about this and how a pro-life Democrat approaches this election tomorrow morning at 6:10 am CT on Relevant Radio Morning Air with John Morales

Earlier this week I spoke with students at ⁦University of Dallas⁩ Rome campus, Due Santi. The students had great questions, as UD students always do, and I enjoyed speaking further with a number of them who stayed after my talk.

About 80% of ⁦University of Dallas⁩ students spend a semester on this campus which is a little piece of paradise complete with grape vines and olive trees. But I don’t think there is a full rainbow *every* morning. I am proud to be the Pope Leo XIII Fellow on Social Thought at UD.

We’re happy to see powerful people do the right thing, even when we disagree with them on (many) other fronts. It’s also obvious that this was a result of sustained pressure, and that can’t happen as effectively without people willing to vote their consciences.

I rarely read reader comments and when I do I usually regret it, esp in the NYT. But these two comments included below are incredibly thoughtful and insightful and thus should be read by everyone.

On Labor Day don’t forget this holiday is about recognizing all of the workers who labored in often brutal conditions to build this country & those who continue to do so to make it thrive. As many travel this weekend, especially remember those in building & construction trades

I had missed this good piece on Democrats For Life presser: Lipinski said in his remarks. “But, clearly, this big tent does not include pro-life Democrats, so we ask the Democratic Party to practice what it preaches—inclusivity—and that means the party needs to welcome pro-lifers.”
