Earlier this week I spoke with students at ⁦University of Dallas⁩ Rome campus, Due Santi. The students had great questions, as UD students always do, and I enjoyed speaking further with a number of them who stayed after my talk.

About 80% of ⁦University of Dallas⁩ students spend a semester on this campus which is a little piece of paradise complete with grape vines and olive trees. But I don’t think there is a full rainbow *every* morning. I am proud to be the Pope Leo XIII Fellow on Social Thought at UD.

We’re happy to see powerful people do the right thing, even when we disagree with them on (many) other fronts. It’s also obvious that this was a result of sustained pressure, and that can’t happen as effectively without people willing to vote their consciences.
