Steve had wondered where it came from. Maybe Meemaw drilled it into his head. Maybe Uncle Joey did it. But it came from somewhere??? "I...alright." Cue the awkwardness. "Thanks for the talk?" He also felt confused.

His cheeks go red as Steve proceeds to make things even more awkward. Crossing his arms, hugging himself as anxiety kicked in and mumbled something under his breath before shifting to take out his wallet and hand over a $10 bill.

"My parents are well known in the community. I'd do them a disservice if I misbehaved...Sir." //no rush at all. It's completely okay. :)

"Psst. Hey." ʙɪʟʟʏ

He mumbles again, trying to shove the money into his father's hand, all the while his face just gets more red. God, this was embarrassing as hell.

Regular Steve was a menace. "Dude. Come on. How long does it take to open the damn thing?"

Regrets were most definitely had. Like a lot of them. "I'm...uh...I'm gonna go...." And maybe throw himself off a bridge. Or hope a squirrel eats his face off. God that was horrible.
