Our Year 12s enjoyed a slice of #SixthForm life today as they enjoyed their induction morning, complete with team building exercises, a learning performance session, and pizza! 🍕 A great start to their Sixth Form careers ♦

Just like that, we're back for a brand new academic year! A warm welcome to all of our new pupils, as well as welcome back to everyone returning to Dame Allan's! ♦👋 We hope that everyone is ready and raring to go for another fantastic term 🎉

Our music team held a 'Come and Try' session over lunch today, where pupils (and staff!) could come and try out an instrument - no matter their level of experience or musical ability 🎹🎸🎺🎵 They were supported by some of our talented young musicians, who helped lead demos ♦👏

It's not just new pupils who have joined Dame Allan's this week, we're delighted to welcome a crop of new staff members! 👋♦ Working across teaching and support roles, our new colleagues bring a huge range of experience to benefit our pupils. Please wish them a warm welcome ♥

Some lovely news from our Girls' School who have raised a wonderful £452.77 for Guide Dogs ! 🐾👏 This has been a long term fundraiser, with Miss Fairbairn sending this fantastic total to the charity over the summer. Well done all for helping such a good cause ♦
