The staff had to return something to Costco and lucky for me, she picked up a roast chicken on the way out!! OMD give me some slices and some of those juices!! 😍

It’s food prep Sunday and I’m watching the staff make chicken & broccoli in a Boursin cheese sauce. One of her faves. I must insist on taste testing. Especially since she turned my bedroom safe space upside down so she could vacuum under the bed this morning!

The new bedroom furniture came. The mattress height is now a bit dramatic and I pray mom doesn’t fall off and crush me (I sleep on the floor in my own bed)

The food holidays are here! What are your humans making for Thanksgiving? I want it all.

Why does supervising the staff need to be a 24/7 experience? My tummy is better but I still want my bland ground turkey and rice meals just in case. Why do I need to remind her?

Thanksgiving cooking frenzy has begun and I’ve been unapologetically hanging out in the kitchen watching mom. So far she has dry brined the turkey breast, roasted Brussels sprouts and popped a pumpkin pie in the oven. I tasted the Brussels and they were great!

The place smells like pumpkin pie and I can’t complain. #Thanksgiving

#Thanksgiving2025 I’ve been keeping a close eye on #ThanksgivingDay action in the kitchen. Despite mom’s video calls with friends, she’s been able to roast Japanese squash and got the all important turkey breast in the oven. It’s all about the food!🥘 🦃🍁

The staff is busy with after #Thanksgiving cooking now. Turkey stock in the slow cooker (smells amazing) and she even saved squash guts for me and is boiling them to add to my kibble this week. I might have to give her 5 stars. ⭐️

We had more snow, on top of winter wonderland snow leftover from last week. Glad I’m tall, my feets are starting to get buried. 😆❄️🌨️

Cold, snowy Sunday food prep and mom is making green chile pork stew. She hasn’t made this since hu-uncles visited years ago at Christmas 🎄 time! I got to taste sautéed pork and some juices 🥰❄️

The slow cooker aka room fragrancer has been cooking on high instead of low for hours. Kitchen disaster? I’ve had savory dreams all day and am willing to eat green chile pork stew no matter how it turned out.

So the windchill temp is 12F (-11C) and it was pretty much unanimous amongst the humans that we skip Houndy Happy Hour this week. The dog park has probably a foot of packed snow, which I love to prance and twirl on, but know it’s too cold to be out! Maybe next week.

This is a travesty. Photo from two years ago, not only was I actually SIX, but this year mom didn’t even remember it was my birthday until now!! Worst. Mom. Ever.
