Macrolide antibiotics may potentiate the effects of (CCBs) by inhibiting CP450 isoenzyme 3A4.

💢 So Erythromycin or Clarithromycin increase the risk of hypotension if used in combination with a CCB

✅ Azithromycin is a much weaker inhibitor of CYP3A4 ( safe choice )
