PLAY CATCH. It’s the most important fundamental skill of our game. Pitching and defense are both extensions of playing catch. The teams who play catch the best are usually the teams that win the most. If you can’t play catch, you can’t play. #STdrills

PITCHERS: when you throw in the pen, do you work from the stretch? And when you work from the stretch, do you mix your looks and times, like you should in a game? Your biggest pitches in the game will come from the stretch. Practice accordingly. #STdrills

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT BEN BELAND Ben Beland Mavericks Baseball What a year! Ben led the team in hits (34), RBIs (31), doubles (11), triples (4) and slugging percentage (.609) & finished second in batting avg (.391). He also had 8 RBIs in a single game & played the OF error free.
