Really enjoyed Monday's talk at Peter's Pizzaria (plus the delicious pizza ofc...), I've been reflecting all week on the incredible research from Loughborough Geography and Environment on humanitarian relief in Malawi. Delighted that hydrogen research and innovation was the main event today. What a week!

Interesting talk by David Whitfield who used field data and force balance models to show the importance of grain shape, size and imbrication in governing bed stability. Are larger grains actually “more mobile” than smaller grains? 🪨
