Yesterday we enjoyed a very inspiring talk by ornithologist Ruth Muñiz López on her conservation work in Ecuador as part of Moraleja Vuela. She introduced us to the peculiarities of the harpy eagle.

The members of the Generalitat de Valencia funded project “Eco-angels of the ecosystem?” participated today with a round table on animal literature written by women in the 44th AEDEAN conference organized by the University of Cantabria.

What a wonderful weekend celebrating the arrival of the cranes in Extremadura! Thanks to the organizers of the Festival of the Cranes celebrated in Navalvillar de Pelas (Badajoz, Spain) last Saturday. Great environment, experts and dedicated citizen scientists ⁦@EnvCit⁩

Last Sunday I managed to spot hundreds of cranes trying to find a place to sleep at the Presa de los Canchales (Badajoz, Spain). ADENEX managed to gather a group of 60 people crazy to learn more about this beautiful bird.⁦@EnvCit⁩
