LDA Headteacher Vicky Gowan is ‘immensely proud of what the Y11 cohort has achieved after starting secondary school at one of the most challenging times in recent history. Thanks to pupils’ resilience, staff dedication and family support, we have some very happy young people’.

Many thanks to LDA Chair of Governors Ian Marshall and Knowsley Cllr Bannon who spent time at LDA this morning hearing from pupils about their successes and future plans.

We enjoyed welcoming our pupils back to LDA today. All year groups started their day with an assembly reminding them of our high standards and expectations. Pupils responded with courtesy and respect. A fantastic start to the new school year!

LDA families, we hope you have enjoyed the break. We are very much looking forward to welcoming pupils back to school tomorrow for Half Term 2. All pupils should be at school by 8:38am, fully equipped and ready to learn.

We are really proud that the very large majority of pupils are meeting expectations of LDA Corridor Culture. Pupils are responding well to this key reminder as we return after the half term break.
