Many dogs are negatively affected by fireworks. Although we would have loved a city-wide Firework Control Zone in Edinburgh, we are pleased 4 zones have been approved. We would like this replicated across Scotland, including around our Rehoming Centres. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Over the years, we have successfully advocated for legislative improvements that have enhanced the lives of dogs across the UK. With MSPs returning from recess last week, we have reaffirmed our recommendations so that together we can build a better future for dogs in Scotland.

We were pleased to welcome DAERA officials to Dogs Trust Ballymena this morning for a tour of our Rehoming Centre. A great opportunity to discuss animal welfare, regulation of breeding and rehoming, and to meet Caesar, a beautiful golden Labrador! 🐢🐾
