Just want to say that I'm glad the Lakers didn't finish with the same record as anyone else and lose a tiebreaker. That would have been silly considering they have the IST championship win that doesn't count. I still think the NBA should look into changing that rule next year.

The solution to me is to make the IST championship the 82nd game so everyone still plays the same number and they all count. The teams that advance to the finals essentially being punished by having to play an 83rd game is dumb.

The other solution would just be to make it a rule that the IST champion automatically wins all tiebreakers at the end of the year since they have that extra win in their back pocket.
