What’s Good in 109? 🐱 Walden 1st graders made kazoos today. They had different choices of paper towel rolls along with coverings and had to figure out which combination created the best sound. Please remember this post when Staff Appreciation Week comes around 🤣😂❤️

We had a GREAT first day of our kindergarten registration completion drop-in event! It was awesome to meet so many new students as they set sail on their 109 journey! We are back open tomorrow from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at our district office. Come by and see us!

Last week, 6th grade French students at Shepard got to have a special treat... a king cake! Students learned about the history of Mardi Gras and how the king cake tradition came to be.

Spent the day with this inspiring group working on our district’s k8 stem and communications media arts curriculum review. Love working with them. Our students are so lucky to have these amazing teachers and to have such creative/innovative learning experiences! ❤️
