Following a very busy week at Leeds Cathedral, it's back to our normal schedule of sung vespers and Masses, including the great celebration of The Annunciation. This morning our choirs are also singing for Mass at St Francis' Bradford and St Patrick's Huddersfield.

After a very well-deserved post-Easter break, our choirs across our singing programme return this week. At Leeds Cathedral there will be a Solemn Requiem Mass for His Holiness, Pope Francis, on Tuesday at 5.30pm, celebrated by Bishop Marcus.

Yesterday evening Bishop Marcus celebrated a Solemn Requiem Mass for His Holiness Pope Francis at the cathedral. The Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Schools Scholars and Choral Scholars sang Duruflé's setting of the Requiem.

This week's sung Masses and vespers at Leeds Cathedral, including Mass of the Holy Spirit on Tuesday evening to mark the start of the conclave the following day. Today, Bradford Catholic Girls Choir, Huddersfield Boys Choir and Skipton Catholic Junior Choir are also singing Mass.

This week's sung Masses and vespers at Leeds Cathedral - tomorrow Leeds International Organ Festival opens with a recital by the Diocesan Director of Music Benjamin Saunders and soprano Louise Wayman. Elsewhere, our choirs are singing Mass today in Huddersfield, Ripon and Wakefield.
