Michael Gove was right. We have had enough of 'experts': people who achieved expertise in one discipline but lost the ability to discern its boundaries, and then went on falsely to represent themselves as experts in all other vaguely-related fields. They made themselves quacks.

According to this weird man, the only way to be properly American is to hate America. He's overlooking that he is preaching the destruction of the majority in his own country. That majority should agree with him that he and they are enemies. It should treat him accordingly.

This is intolerable. Unless it can be shown that this story was cooked up out of whole cloth - which, given its reporting in the paper of record, is virtually impossible - this man has not a moment's future as a Member of Parliament.

I'm with Patrick Christys on this, and with Graham Linehan. There are no 'trans' children. There may be adults who prefer to act, present or even believe themselves to be of the opposite sex: their preferences must never oblige others. Experiments on children must be prohibited.

The Rock's Hollywood theme was the best edition he ever had. I'm delighted he's brought it back.
