This afternoon, the UN Human Rights Council discussed the report of #UNSG António Guterres on #reprisals against persons & groups engaging with the 🇺🇳 🇩🇰 expressed concern about reprisals against #HRDs & once again called for the release of Mr Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja without further delay.
It’s time to vote 🙋 After weeks of negotiations, UN Human Rights Council will start voting & adoption of 37 resolutions & decisions, including on key 🇩🇰 priorities such as #IndigenousPeoples & #Gender.
“There can no longer remain any doubt that extreme climate events will become a much more frequent part of our lives.” 🌍 EW4All MS brief: Ib Petersen highlights the importance of early warning systems in order to strengthen climate preparedness and response at a local level.
