What an amazing Lymphatics GRC Gordon Research Conferences in Italy! Grateful for the opportunity to present my lab’s work AND lead a timely Power Hour discussion on promoting racial diversity in science.



NIH defines underrepresented/disadvantaged populations in science as meeting 1-2 of 9 criteria. Realizing I check 6 of the boxes, it helped put my journey into perspective as I and Dr. Smith told Boston public high school students that they can have a future in STEM. It was an honor to be an American Society for Investigative Pathology /San Filippo Visiting Lecturer at University of Michigan Dept. of Pathology. I enjoyed the thought-provoking discussions with the many talented faculty and trainees!



It was an honor to give the 15th annual Tucker Collins lecture at Harvard Med today. Harvard Medical School Dr. Collins was an inspirational vascular biologist taken too soon.
