Combination of laser altimeter not working properly, and the landscape illumination confusing the camera based navigation system - I'm honestly surprised that the navcam testing must have been done under different lighting conditions.

It was pointed out that the helicopter that broke apart in mid air appears to have replacement composite rotor blades, partly because the originals aren't made any more. The manufacturer described these as "The Last Blades You'll Buy" - I'm not sure that's reassuring after
