Guess it’s my turn for severe weather: Storm hit yesterday. 50-60mph wind and heavy rain. 1” hail in places. Been without power for 8 hours. My county was specifically mentioned as withstanding severe damages in downed trees and power lines. Hoping I’ll have power before Monday.

Power is back! 😇 They’re talking more storms for tonight so we’ll see what happens but it doesn’t sound as bad as what went through on Saturday. Cleanup is ongoing but not done yet. No damage to structure or property seen at this time.

Well, there was a fair bit of lightning in the storm that went through this morning. Otherwise, the thunderstorm was quite timid with very little wind or rain and no hail. Power flickered briefly but that’s about all that came out of it.
