Our DHS Maths students have arrived at Warwick Uni Maths for the Education in Action KS5 Maths in Action lectures. Looking forward to a great day!
In Derby High School Sixth Form Further Maths, we're learning about hyperbolic functions and the resulting catenary curves that we see everywhere in nature and sometimes in architecture! Suspend a cable or rope freely between two points and it may look like a parabola (quadratic) but oh no...🧐
