The #DHBenelux 2024 opening session started with words of welcome by Leah Budke, Geert Brône Brône, Hilde Van Kiel & Tom Gheldof (CLARIAH-VL coordinator Letteren KU Leuven) on behalf of the #DHBenelux PC. We’re looking forward to 3 interesting days at the beautiful (sold-out) Irish College!

It was such a joy and privilege to supervise Nour and Seoyeong (seen rocking the #DHBenelux2024 poster session here) and Nina for their Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam DH in Practice project and to see how well their hard work was received by the DH Benelux community! These ladies will go far!

Today we wrapped up #DHBenelux2024 with a closing keynote, “The Future of Digital Humanities—Beyond Humanities?” by Manuel Burghardt and final remarks. The past few days included a wide range of exciting DH research. Thank you to all participants for making the conference a success!
