🚧 UPDATE - A receiver has been appointed at Bennington Apartments thanks to AG Brian Schwalb. #TeamDOB will work with the receiver to help fix unsafe conditions + restore the buildings to habitability. Tenants deserve safe housing, and we'll make sure they get it.

The owners carried out dangerous and illegal construction. District of Columbia Department of Buildings uncovered multiple violations of DC construction codes — citing the property four times for construction without a permit and unsafe conditions.
