Congratulations to the poets who featured in today's Poetry Day Ireland Poetry in Windows trail through Drumcondra with Anne Tannam, Dublin City University and Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann. Our own Patrick Dennan and Julie Whyte were among the poets featured - hear them recite their poems below.

The Poetry in Windows trail celebrates Poetry Day Ireland along the theme of 'May Day.' 12 Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann poems are featured along with 12 poems selected by Dublin City University Irish Language Writer in Residence, Réaltán Ní Leannáin and DCU Poet in Residence, Anne Tannam.


Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann Dublin City University The poems are displayed in the windows of local businesses based on the Drumcondra Road, starting at The Bread and Butter Gourmet Market and finishing up in Cregan Library on the Dublin City University St Patrick's Campus.
