Community officers in East Lothian have launched defibrillator training for high school pupils.

In partnership with colleagues from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, officers will attend high schools in the area to teach lifesaving skills.

On Thu 1 Feb, the Convener Audrey Nicoll MSP had a productive meeting with 🔥­­_scot Chief Officer Ross Haggart and Deputy Chief Officer Stuart Steven to discuss the challenges and opportunities for a modern fire service in 21st century Scotland.

Current and former members of Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will be cycling to all 65 Community Fire Stations in the East of Scotland in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide covering a distance of around 700 miles in 7 days inMay. Any help providing refreshments or kit would be appreciated.
