East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) Executive team wanted to acknowledge the feelings of loss and hurt. We wanted to recognise the solidarity shown by non-BAME colleagues. We wanted to share a message of unity and hope and express a determination to come together to bring about change.

It was great to have Dr Navina Evans attend the North Hackney Recovery Team FACT meeting today to see how we apply a shared team approach to the community we serve. She began by letting us know she is there for us in the current climate. Also a warm welcome to Saima our new apprentice.

Our work within the BAME mvp element is to look for ways to support and amplify the voices of women of colour, to find out how they can be supported to get involved with the MVP, how people prefer to be communicated with,
