Flood day 3, free kitchens being delivered to the flood evacuees at more than 40 shelters in 4 blocks of Basta, Jaleswar, Baliapal and Bhograi.

Senior officials from the district including ADM Revenue, Sub Collector Balasore have visited flood affected areas of Baliapal and Bhograi blocks for damage assesment.

Local medical teams, ASHA workers are ensureing supply of essential medicines to all the flood affected people. All are advised to follow the instructions of health department strictly.

Collector Balasore chaired a review meeting with all line departments in connection to the post flood damage assessment and restoration works. Collector has instructed for immediate restoration of all services once the flood water recedes from localities.

Flood day 4. As the situation has not come to normalcy in most of the GPs, free kitchens being ensured to all the evacuees of Baliapal block and Bhograi block.

Ensuring safe drinking water in flood affected areas by repairing and disinfecting the tubewells as well as piped water supply by RWSS teams in Bhograi and Baliapal blocks.

Health camps for domestic animals and poultry being ensured by veterinary department inorder to maintain good health among the animals and avians in #flood affected areas.

Revenue field officials doing the house damage survey in Kulha village of Bhograi Block. District Administration is committed for assistance at the earliest.

With an aim to provide financial support to his educational pursuits, Collector Balasore today distributed an amount of Rs. 8000 to Sri Bhavesh Chandra Sahu of Bampada Leprosy Colony, Balasore under the pre-matric scholarship.

Along with the local medical teams, dedicated teams with Doctors and staffs from TPNODL been deployed at flood affected blocks for regular medical check ups. All are advised to follow Do's/Don'ts to avoid any type of infection or disease.

As part of ongoing #SwachhataHiSeva2024, a cleanliness drive in Nilgiri was organised in presence of Hon’ble MLA, Nilgiri, Collector & DM Balasore, SP BALASORE & senior officials underscoring the administration's dedication to maintaining cleanliness & hygiene standards across the district.

Joint grievance hearing in presence of Hon’ble MLA, Nilgiri, Collector & DM Balasore & SP BALASORE was held today wherein 74 petitions were registered, of which 68 were individual & 2 were community issues. 4 grievances resolved on spot & 4 applications received assistance under CMRF.
