Back in the 80s and 90s, Disability Arts was a driving force in bringing radical disability activism to mainstream attention.
There was the epic 'Piss on Pity' slogan that resisted patronising tropes about disabled people as passive objects of charity.

Autism Hidden Voices is holding free applied drama and music sessions at Butetown Community Centre for neurodivergent individuals aged 10-18 years old.

The fortnightly sessions started on 25 April and run until 12 Sept, 6pm to 7pm.

Super grateful to have been granted the WLCOW award to develop my YA fantasy manuscript 🥰

As expected, the UN Committee report is damning about the UK government's failure to uphold disabled people's human rights.

The latest policy proposals will push disabled people further into poverty and exclusion.
