Congrats on coming out. Now would be a great time to stop pushing laws that harm your own community. LGBTQ+ youth are particularly overrepresented in the unhoused population and you’ve voted to criminalize their existence in San Diego. Do better.

When LGBTQ+ youth are kicked out of their homes for coming out or being outed and then are chased and harassed by police for being homeless, they can thank Councilmember Stephen Whitburn for criminalizing their existence!

Ryan Darsey No senior should have to sleep on our streets or in a tent at a safe campsite. You are celebrating not housing an 80 yr old, think about that. She should be at a non-congregate hotel shelter as a transitional step to permanent housing. This isn’t a win it is an indictment of SD.
