Happy Commitversary to Curtis Lofton. 19 years ago today he committed to OU.

A 4 ⭐️ LB out of Kingfisher, Lofton was the No. 62 overall player in the 2005 class. He chose OU over OSU.

In 2007, Lofton was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-American honors.

The morning of the 2007 Big 12 Championship Game, a young Mizzou fan in Dubuque, Iowa silently gave me the No. 1 sign, to which I replied, “Not tonight.”
Lofton’s interception and sack that night in San Antonio were a big reason why the #Sooners had the last laugh.
