The old angels in their psychotic, graceless way had left behind such remnants as forever haunted the landscape where they had fallen. Each signature different: here, the eruption of a giant fossilized wing, there a structure like a gutted lighthouse, but not. Damaged relics.

I just submitted interview answers for a literary magazine. I got interviewed! It still feels unreal being a published author!

i’ve published 2 books and 5 chapbooks; i’ve published many poems and essays in magazines; i teach poetry for a living—and i do not write every day. i would be miserable if i did. you do not need to write every day to be a writer

Pro tip, new writers: Never make an expedition more than 12 members. Definitely not 24. You'll forget who dead, who alive, who half-dead, who gruntled, who disgruntled, who alligator and who sloshing into the aquifer.

This is by no means the only reason writers run into that wall, but it’s a big one and I hope to address others (like plot drift) in future videos! But this is how I handle that brain overload.
