Protestors have taken an abandoned UC-owned building at 2538 Channing Way next to the People’s Park, a historic community space in Berkeley that was violently raided and fenced off by the University of California in January to make space for student housing.

Yesterday more than 150 students + community members gathered outside of The City University of New York's Silberman School of Social Work to demand the administration meet student demands to end institutional complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
