Cumbernauld Community Officers arrested a 59-year-old male in relation to a number of housebreakings and attempted housebreakings in the Kildrum and Carbrain areas. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and he will appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court at a later date.

Kilsyth Community Officers, PCs Rae and Morton, were in Kilsyth today, promoting the Community Alcohol Partnership. They were raising awareness of the dangers, problems and issues caused by persons buying alcohol for underage children.

Lanarkshire Licensing were at The Hay Stook, EK last week. Staff undertook Bystander training & participated in a number of scenarios based around crime scene management & preservation. More training has been arranged to take place throughout Lanarkshire in the near future.

Well done to #PSYVLanarkshire for assisting team Tartan LUG at the recent Thin Blue Bricks Lego Event. Our volunteers helped look after displays, took part in some Lego building with families and helped raise over £1,500 for the Care of Police Survivors Charity.

On 10th March 2023 Cumbernauld Community officers arrested 3 men for drugs offences after a warrant was executed at an address in the Kilsyth area. Approx. £115,000 of heroin and £1,050 of cannabis was seized. They appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court on 13th March 2023.
