We started the season with one player who can play as a number 9 & he is still learning his trade. Young forwards are inconsistent by their very nature & he was playing in a team that's struggling with no other experienced forward there to take some pressure off him.

Brought him in midway through the season when he wanted to come in the summer, he has 1 centre forward who's inexperienced. Everything needs ripping up and starting again. Nowhere for the players who need to go to hide. Look at 87-91, just like then fundamental changes are needed

Again this is on the fucking players amount of individual errors and God awful decision making. We have 1 senior centre forward for Fucksake who is still a kid pretty much struggling with form. What would we have won in 99 without Cole/Yorke/Sheringham and if Ole was out of form.

Amorim wanted to come in the summer, this is on INEOS. With that squad & a quiet transfer window there was never any chance of Amorim being able to implement the system he was brought here for.

This squad was pretty much set up for ETH to fail, Amorim inherited it and was only allowed Dorgu. Only 1 centre forward who's been out of form after a promising first season. Just one player capable, no alternative, no old pro on his last legs, not even fucking Weghorst on loan.

Silver lining time, said half in jest earlier in the season but no Europa & a bottom half finish & I can genuinely see the Glazers selling up to SJR finally, because those shares are going to end up dropping like our goal difference. Still want Amorim here no matter what happens.
