08:21 - Crowland Fire Station & Spalding FireStation attended a 1-vehicle RTC on Hulls Drove, Shepeau Stow. Crews used specialist cutting gear to release 1 casualty, made the vehicle safe using small tools & administered casualty care.

Well done and thank you to Lincolnshire residents for helping us raise £5229 for the Fire Fighters Charity, by dropping off your unwanted clothing at the collection containers! You’ve also helped 23.7tonnes of clothing to be reused or recycled rather than going in the bin!

22:12 Crowland Fire Station attended Chapel Drove, Holbeach Drove to reports of a dog trapped in a tank. Crews used straps and lines to remove the dog from the tank.

Incident at Sutton Bridge Port is still ongoing. Currently 2 Appliances 1 Ariel Ladder Platform and a High Volume Pump remain in attendance dealing with this.

02:10 Spalding FireStation Crowland Fire Station Donington Community Fire Station attended outbuildings on fire at Evergreen Close Spalding. Fire damage to 1 wooden outbuilding, a diesel generator and hedgerow. Extinguished using breathing apparatus, 3 hose reels, 1 main jet and thermal imaging cameras.

23:41 Crowland Fire Station HolbeachFire&Rescue Spalding FireStation Market Deeping Fire Station & Long Sutton attended a property fire on Broadgate, Whaplode Drove. Fire & smoke damage to bathroom & loft space. Extinguished using 1 main jet, 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus, ladders & thermal imaging cameras.

17:36 Spalding FireStation and Crowland Fire Station attended a harvest baler on fire on Deeping High Bank, Deeping St Nicholas. Severe fire damage to the harvest baler. Extinguished using 1 hose reel, caused by a build up of straw in the engine compartment.

09:51 Crowland Fire Station attended an incident on North Street in Crowland. There was severe fire damage to hedging, fencing and 2 sheds. Crews used 2 hose reels and 1 thermal imaging camera to extinguish. Cause was re-ignition of a controlled burn from the night before.

15:00 - Crowland Fire Station and Spalding FireStation went to Langary Gate Road, Gedney Hill to a fire in the open. There was severe fire damage to approx 30sqm of stubble field, which they extinguished using two hose reels and four beaters. Cause - controlled burn out of control.

at 15:48 Crowland Fire Station and Market Deeping Fire Station attended Renews Drove, Crowland. This was to a Vehicle fire. Crews used 1 Hose Reel to Extinguish.

Further Update - Residents in the vicinity of Kirton Holme, Boston are advised to keep windows and doors closed due to high volumes of smoke in the area. The incident is still ongoing.
