Tonight is the first night of the Chicago Critics Film Festival at the Music Box! This will be my third year attending. The fest is a really awesome preview of the upcoming year in independent cinema, and like in the past, the lineup is incredible. Chicago Critics Film Festival Music Box Theatre

Sitting right next to twins Ari and Ethan Gold (“Brother Verses Brother”), while they watch “Twinless” at the Music Box Theatre thanks to the Chicago Critics Film Festival was a cosmic moment. Brian Tallerico

#TheBaltimorons is a Christmas miracle in its own right—awkward, tender, and full of offbeat charm. Jay Duplass captures the quiet magic of the season with heartfelt performances from Michael Strassner and Liz Larsen. A beautifully messy holiday gem. 🎄✨ Chicago Critics Film Festival

Friendship is unhinged and hilarious. Tim Robinson brings a special kind of cringe comedy that had me laughing till my stomach hurt. Chicago Critics Film Festival with another winner.

#ItEnds is a movie I so desperately needed in my early 20’s. Alexander Ullom delivers one of the most unique takes on coming of age and adulthood in recent memory. A much longer review is coming soon to The Rolling Tape Official , but I’m very excited about this one.

Actress JANE LEVY & director ANGUS MACLACHLAN are coming to Chicago Critics Film Festival, for a Closing Night Q&A with their moving family drama A LITTLE PRAYER! This Thursday at 7:15pm Get Tickets Now: musicboxtheatre.com/films-and-even…

Standing ovation at Chicago Critics Film Festival tonight for Eva Victor’s phenomenal SORRY, BABY. A memorable moment.

I will be on Daytime Chicago with Brian Tallerico on WGN TV today (10 AM-11 AM) talking about The Chicago Critics Film Festival. Tune in, record, watch later, whatever your pleasure.
