This has been a fun paper to write! We study how switching to virtual format of negotiations impacts country participation and engagement with global governance, focusing on IPCC approvals. We discuss up and downsides of virtual formats for global governance. Open access!

In this new #OpenAccess article, Dafni Kalatzi Pantera examines people’s mobilization for the environment, finding that the global diffusion of ideas stimulates environmental activism but this effect is stronger for left wingers than for right wingers. doi.org/10.1080/096440…
