Today, I joined the Ambassador of Japan to Uganda and other partners supporting our work with the refugees UNHCR Uganda ,World Food Programme UNFPA among others for a press conference at the media center to communicate the financial support to the above partners.
NTV UGANDA hosted the UNHCR Uganda Representative Matthew Crentsil for a discussion on the refugee situation in Uganda. The conversation addressed topics such as funding, livelihoods and the role of refugee-led organizations.

The European Union EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 and UNHCR Uganda have signed a 3-year partnership to help Uganda better deal #withrefugees .
In 2023, the EU is giving €6.5 million (around UGX 26 billion), and there's a plan for a total of €19.5 million (about UGX 78.2 billion) by 2025.
