I just closed my fastest SBA 7(a) loan of the year - actually 2! 2 separate acquisitions of HVAC companies. They reached out to me for the first time on Oct 5th. 6 weeks later, $2.6mm out the door! Yesterday a Pioneer Capital Advisory LLC deal closed with SBA Ray for 2 HVAC acquisitions totaling to $2.61 million in combined SBA 7(a) debt. This deal got done in ~ 60 days start to finish from the time we engaged him. Chandler Clark knocked this out of the park. Kudos to all!

Stopped by ⁦Chandler Clark⁩’s office on the way to Purdue… For once, this man wasn’t closing deals (as it should be on a Holiday). Plenty of time for that next week!

While the pandemic brought the SBA into the limelight, it has been around for decades helping America’s entrepreneurs. Some of my favorite stories are from my mentor about when he started our SBA legal department 20+ years ago and how much has changed.

Title companies/third party vendors often present last-minute requests that are unnecessary or based on a misunderstanding of law. Sometimes arguing is most likely to delay closing. I’ll comply if it doesn’t harm the Lender/Parties. Ego can’t come before a smooth closing.
