On Saturday we were able to produce 200 hand sanitizers that were distributed around the island for those most vulnerable. In these uncertain times we are so lucky to live in a wonderful community like #mull - we will continue producing as much as we can! #handsanitiser

Good information and advice From Mull Community Crisis Group which has been working hard to help the island and all those who live there at this difficult time.

🦅Fabulous article in BBC Wildlife April edition on the #IsleofWight sea eagle project by Forestry England & Roy Dennis Foundation by @benhoare5 Hope for the future in dark times. Our 2 #Mull birds now spreading their wings on the mainland & both thriving as are 2 others still on IoW👍😃

Mmmm, maybe cuckoo will lay its egg in the sea eagle's nest and the cuckoo chick will be raised by them?🤔Well we do live in strange times!🤣#neversaynever Think I've been in lockdown for too long🤪

Thanks to Master @lewismac100 on the MV Isle of Mull for sharing his crew spreading the #StayAtHome message. The crew are working to make sure the community of Mull is still connected to the mainland. Helping key workers and NHS staff be able to play their roles #WeAreCalMac 👏🌈

As lockdown has eased slightly for outdoor workers, I finally got to see the 2 tawny owl chicks rescued by a host of #Mull islanders working together. Now in the fantastic care of Dave & Val Owen & looking so good! Release into the wild in a week or so🦉🦉 obantimes.co.uk/2020/05/27/wer…

On yesterday's boat trip we saw lots of dykes cutting the lavas. Also a very prominent cone-sheet cut by dykes. Think it might be craignureite. Well developed columnar structure in it. Detail comes out when pics are enlarged. Weather surface of dykes more brown than the lavas
