Pulled the sides and dropped the turface out of the prescription cover crop mix root boxes. We learned quite a bit about root morphology and interactions in polycultures. Much to improve on for the next round.

First dessicant sprayed on Friday (Aug 23). Soybeans at R6.5. Many more combos to spray sodium chlorate: 2 planting dates x 3 maturities x 2 timings (R6.5, R7). Here’s day of treatment and 3 days later: dessicant vs normal senescence. Science for Success Purdue Agriculture Purdue Extension
