For fields being taken to harvest, most of the rapid growth in CoverCress® plants occurs in the first half of spring. Therefore, it is recommended that farmers apply a minimum of 50 lbs/ac of nitrogen in the early spring, before the plants begin to bolt.

This CoverCress® crop in southeast Illinois is about two weeks from harvest. The stand is uniform and healthy, setting up for a strong finish. As a winter oilseed, CoverCress offers new opportunities to enhance rotations and add value between corn and soybeans. #CoverCress

Covercress is harvested. Should have been done a few days ago but the rain and timing didn't work out. Didn't think that small of seed could fill up an auger cart. Plant corn tomorrow.
