I just cracked open THE DEATH ARTIST by Dennis Etchison this last weekend and I am so glad I did. Reads like an Aickman-esque strange tale, but more modern, urbanist, and American. Very cool stuff with an arresting, approachable prose style.

Had a surprisingly good time at the movies this weekend with IMMACULATE. Not usually one for religious horror, but I had to respect the tight pacing, short-run time, and commitment to its premise. Fun flick that felt like a meeting of A24 and Blumhouse.
