What are some of the best horror/weird/cosmic books you've read this year? FEVER HOUSE and CRUSHING SNAILS are without a doubt highlights for me.

I had the pleasure of hearing Ryan Marie Ketterer read her story "The Netting on My Feet" at StokerCon, and you do not want to miss it. Maybe the closest thing I've read to the short fiction of Shirley Jackson!

I wanted to give a shoutout to the new Grimscribe Press release, Glass Stories by Ivy Grimes! Ivy is an incredible writer of the weird (and CHM alum!) and this collection shows her weaving absurdity, strangeness, and heart together effortlessly. bit.ly/3yJPwzo

I liked the new Beetlejuice more than I expected to. If you have affection for the original, you might be willing to go along for the ride in what is an otherwise imperfect film—with lots of energy and zaniness to spare. Anyone else check this out this last weekend?
