(1/3) #AlabamaPolitics 5 people travel from all over the state to testify at a hearing last week on #HB14 just to be told that the House Judiciary Cmte would discuss it and vote on it this week.

(2/3) When Rep Penni McClammy noted the attendance of people that cared about the bill, the fact that the bill was in part fixing something that should have been taken care of in prior legislation, and asked for the discussion to occur last week

(3/3) Rep. Hill declined citing their "rules" & that it would happen the next week. Here we are at next week's hearing, and the meeting adjourned with no discussion of HB14 and no vote. And, over 30 people left on death row who got life sentences from their juries. #DoSomething
