Corinth Track and Field had a great day Friday despite the weather! Many division wins in certain events (those to be named soon) and also two Division 1-4a Trophies brought home!! Looking forward to Region 1-4a Thursday back at Tish starting at 10:30am!

Starting us off for the Division Event Winners is none other than the “Train” himself Chris Rodgers winning the 110m Dash in a time of 11.55! He was also apart of the 4x100m and 4x200m Teams that placed 1st!

Winning the 400m run at Division was Clark Carmichiel with a time of 54.51! Clark was also apart of the 4x800m and 4x400m relay teams that place 1st in Division!

Ricardo Venegas won the 3200m Run with a time of 11:21. Despite the conditions “Tricky” Ricky had a great day and we are looking forward to what he accomplishes at Region!

Our 4x100m and 4x200m teams won the Division meet with times of 46.24(4x100) and 1:42(4x200)! The Relay teams includes Drew Williams, Jaylen Stackings, Broderick Alexander, and Chris Rodgers! These guys have a chance to mix things up all the way to state!

Our 4x400m and 4x800m guys team won their events at the Division meet with times of 8:57(4x800) and 3:46(4x400). The relay teams are made up of Clark Carmichiel, Ross Evans, Sam Evans, and Parker LeGoff.

Emma Hall was apart of 3 different Division Event wins. She won her two individual events the 800 with a time of 2:37 and her 1600m with a time of 5:49 and was apart of the girls 4x800m relay win!

Ayanna Norman won the Girls Triple Jump with a jump distance of 28-10. She is also apart of the 4x100m relay and she runs the girls 100m.

Abigail Patterson won the girls Shot Put with a throw of 29-08, which is a personal PR for her. No doubt she has some strength coming from a great season of power lifting!

Our girls 4x800m team won the Division race Friday with a time of 10:55. This relay group included Catherine Grisham, Elsie Wilbanks, Andi Kate Holley, and Emma Hall! They look to chase not only a State Championship but also a school record and possible 4a state record!

State Prep week!! Fast intervals to start to get the legs warmed up, mileage today and staying focused on the “Business Trip” we have Thursday and Friday!! Proud to be a Warrior!! 🔴⚫️

Future of this program looks bright(not a senior on the stand)!! Brought home an Indv State Championship! One was so close but didn’t go our way and the other was a 13’1 vault that will happily take a 2nd place podium!! So proud of these athletes!! Spotlights following! 🥇🥈🥈

🔴1st Spotlight⚫️ Deservingly so goes to our 4a State Champions in the Girls 4x800m relay! 🥇These girls literally ran away from the rest of the field finishing in a School Record time of 10:34.4! Legs were Elsie Wilbanks, Catherine Grisham, Andi Kate Holley, and Emma Hall!!

🔴2nd Spotlight⚫️ This goes out to our 13’1 Boy Pole Vaulter, Jack Gibson. He had a great day of jumping, but fell a-little short of 1st! With nobody in front of him next year we are expecting great things! Here is your 4a Boys Pole Vault 2nd Place Finisher🥈!

🔴Last Spotlight⚫️ This goes to our Boys 4x800m Relay who finished 0.17 seconds behind first! It was a gutsy and incredible race that we just missed out on winning! Legs were Clark Carmichiel, Ross Evans, Sam Evans, and Parker LeGoff. Your 2nd Place 4a 4x800m Relay guys!

Senior Banner Pictures start today 7th period! Jerseys will be there for anyone who hasn’t got one yet! Team pictures will come at a later time! Looking forward to getting this year started off in the right direction!
