An artist from Leeds has been up before dawn every day this year to document the sunrises. I joined Tom Newhouse at this beautiful spot this morning. The early start well worth it. More on his project ‘365’ on BBC Yorkshire in a few minutes.

In 2020 part of the Wharfe in Ilkley became the first river to get bathing water status after a campaign by IlkleyCleanRiver. It’s now been rated as ‘poor’ by the Environment Agency. £13m plan to clean up the river was announced today by Yorkshire Water 💧. More BBC Yorkshire tonight.
