We’ve had some special helpers in Year 2 this week! A kindly brought in a special family artefact to help us learn about Port Sunlight and Lord Lever’s soap factory. S helped us all get ready for next week’s Eurovision song contest and taught us the days of the week in Spanish.

Woodslee are taking on Eurovision! Each class will perform a song on Thurs 18th May. Performances will be shared on social media and voting will take place online and in school. The winning class will receive a special treat! Winners will be announced before half-term.

Year 1 went out to complete a traffic survey so that we could compare present day transport to transport in the past. We saw all sorts of different modes of transport, although we were a tad disappointed to have not seen a Penny Farthing! #succeedtogether 🐿️❤️

Our Year 6, Group 1 have had a brilliant day completing the 3G swing, caving, den building, water challenge and bouldering. The staff have commented on the team work and how well our children support each other to overcome fears. We are so proud of them.
