I fixed all the bugs that were annoying with me on my hello project if anyone wants to play with it: github.com/erikng/hello/r… Still no documentation but I did make a demo you can play with: github.com/erikng/hello/t…

I made of a demo of hello (orchestrated by InstallApplications). Updated the github.com/erikng/install… repo with how I did it as well.

I can finally announce this. 10/05 I start my new journey within Uber as a security engineer. My journey as a macadmin is ending soon. Thanks for all the great times :)

Nothing happens to my GitHub. Uber CPE team believes in open source and are also very heavily tied to open source. Even if that narrative changed, it would be a multi year process. Also, there will very likely be some positions open soon on that team if you're interested :).

Nudge v1.1.3 is now out with a ton of bug fixes around major upgrade logic. I highly recommend updating prior to deploying a 11.x -> 12.x upgrade. github.com/macadmins/nudg…

The fine folks over at Apple have YET AGAIN broken the behavior of "softwareupdate" and impacted enterprise behavior that macadmins rely on. I've now done the thing I said I would never do in the Nudge codebase. I'm not happy. github.com/macadmins/nudg…

Nate and I need testers on Apple Silicon and Intel github.com/macadmins/pyth… It's signed and notarized, including the entire python directory path. If it looks good we will remove the pre release tag and cut a python 3.10x release next.
