Craig F. Douglass Contact CI - Feel The Unreal I have the great fortune of only living an hour or so from Cincinnati, and greater. fortune to try them out a couple of times. It's really incredible what your team has done to make them "fit like a glove" and be so comfortable despite all the tech in them.

Al Clark Yes I agree completely. The problem is really one of data and UI - it's that we don't have good teleop systems that provide tactile feedback, and we don't have large tactile datasets, so IMO tactile mostly makes sense for real-world RL

“After implementing VR training for complex robotic systems, they cut workplace injuries in half, reduced training costs by 12%, and accelerated new employee productivity by 33%. The safe virtual environment lets workers build confidence and competence before handling actual

👋🇺🇸🥣 “With Contact CI’s haptics proving to fit in that goldilocks zone, enabling a useful sense of touch in VR, it was a no-brainer for me that Contact CI was the option ready to fill our haptic VR training needs.” - USAF WR-ALC Training Administrator

Really amazing stuff built Craig F. Douglass over at Contact CI - Feel The Unreal ! Contact has been able to significantly lower training costs for entities as large as the US Air Force, while also offering them highly customized experiences. Been a proud investor + friend watching them grow!

Sim-based training continues to be the most common, non-consumer VR use case to-date, yet I regularly hear clients (esp within healthcare and skilled trades) comment on need for haptic feedback to "complete the sim." Glad to see companies that are solving for this 🙏🏽

I believe that Haptic gloves will grow exponentially as integral element of XR entertainment & simulation based training Meta FAIR and others have been using haptic gloves for humanoid & robotics training sets Shoutout to Craig F. Douglass at Contact CI - Feel The Unreal 🧤🥊 👓

this is possibly the best whole body teleoperation that I've ever seen. The motion is really smooth and dynamic. The autonomous results are equally impressive. bostondynamics.com/blog/large-beh…
