Still early, but some models suggesting that this wet period will culminate in a very wet storm next wknd in NorCal. Too early to talk details, but some potential for intense enough rainfall to cause problems near recent wildfire burn areas--esp. Dixie & Caldor. #CAwx #CAfire

Day 2 of intros! "Hi! My name is Xavier, I'm a field technician for the Stanford Conservation Program. If I could be a Stanford fauna, I would be a Steelhead trout. Moving up and down the entire bay sounds too good to pass up! A fun fact about myself is that I can speak Italian."

Day 3 intros! Brandon Kong - Conservation Field Technician. Stanford animal to be for a day: California Tiger Salamander so I could see what they're up to underground all the time. Fun Fact: I'm still obsessing over amphibians and reptiles after I clock out.

Day 4! Katie Preston – Conservation Program Coordinator – I enjoy the creativity involved in working on conservation in a complex suburban environment. I have a fondness for most of the species at Stanford, if I could pick an animal to be for a day today: long-tailed weasel!
