Earlier this week I traveled on the new Qantas A321XLR launch flight. Needless to say, the new plane is a massive upgrade from the 737s they are replacing. Very much looking forward to flying on them again in the future!

Today is the last day of trading for The Bookshop Darlinghurst, Sydney’s queer bookshop, after 43 years. I’m so so devastated to see the place that I found characters like myself in books and learned to love reading again shut up shop. Another Sydney icon lost to time

Great to see that Qantas now has wifi on some of their 787 fleet. I’ve had decent connection all the way from Paris to Perth on todays QF34. I’ve bought concert tickets, streamed a movie on Amazon and messaged friends and family the whole way through. A win for Qantas

I normally only read romance, but I made an exception for Project Hail Mary and I’m glad I did. The book is fantastic. Even if you don’t usually watch sci fi films, you should make an exception for Project Hail Mary. A fantastic film adaptation that lives up to the book and more
